The Blacks In Technology Foundation is the largest community of Black people in the technology industry. Through community-focused activities, events and outreach, The Blacks In Technology (BIT) Foundation is “Stomping the Divide” by establishing a blueprint of world-class technical excellence and innovation by providing resources, guidance, networking, and opportunities for members to share their expertise and advance their careers.
Google Career Certificates program provides people with access to in-demand jobs through rapid reskilling without the need for a college degree or prior experience in the fields of IT support, data analytics, project management, and user experience (UX) design.
These certificates were developed and taught by Google employees, and are hands-on, practical, and rigorous. They can be completed in under six months part-time. 75% of Google IT Support Professional Certificate completers in the U.S. report a positive career outcome like a new job, enhanced skills, promotion, or raise within 6 months.

How to Apply for Bit Foundation Google Professional Certificate Programs
- Interested applicants must be a member of the Bit Foundation.
- You will be sent an email to confirm your Bit Foundation membership, after which you Proceed and login to the Bit platform to access different programs available.
- Fill out the form under the Google program and choose any of the available courses you wish to take and then submit your application.
- You will be notified once your application to take the course is accepted and further instructions will be given to you.
