The Lagos State Government in conjunction with Dataleum has called for application for the 2022 Graduate Tech Trainee Program for interested candidates who have an interest in learning tech skills.
About Lagos Innovates Graduate Tech Trainee Program 2022
The Graduate Tech Trainee Program is an Initiative by Lagos innovates in partnership with Dataleum to upskill unemployed Lagosians with in-demand tech skills. The Dataleum Academy Community is a network of data scientists and analysts across Africa dedicated to learning the use of technology and its role in solving business problems. The academy facilitates your learning through the aid of guided mentorship from super awesome learning community ambassadors. Our goal is to provide an ever-growing population of data technologists with the resources and environments they need to become world-class problem solvers.
It is a 4-month program where you would be getting equipped with both soft and hard skills that would enable you to function in a modernized office environment. Various employers and organizations would always be looking for the best, and your successful completion of this program puts you in a position to confidently apply for such roles.
The total cost of the program is ₦250,000. However, each trainee is expected to pay 20% (₦50,000) of the cost before the commencement of the program, to ensure that they complete the program. The other 80% would be covered by the Lagos State government, as a soft loan, with a flexible period for payback by the trainee after employment is secured

Eligibility
- Applicants must be between the ages of 22 & 40
- Applicants must have completed both their tertiary education and NYSC.
- You must be living in Lagos and be looking to gain employment after a period of training, with various employers looking to include well-equipped talents in their workforce.
- A Working Laptop, with the following specs:
Intel™ Core i3 Processor or it’s equivalent.
8GB worth of RAM
256GB worth of ROM SSD. - You would also be qualified for internship, part-time and full-time job roles.
- An internet-enabled phone and access to a moderate power supply would also be a plus.
